Will i make it thru this winter
Will there be a spring
Will this be my last one
Or will there be more to come
I am told i will live forever
That winter and spring will never end
But i wonder if this is it
Will i ever be happy
Will i ever be filled with joy
Will i ever know love again
Or will i just slip off into eternity as i am today
An unfinished work, full of loss and doubt
Life is cruel and grand at the same time
One minute is ecstasy, the next pain
I feel like i belong, then i feel alone
Beauty then darkness
Like a sunset on the river
But tomorrow the sun will rise again
And you never know what the tide may bring
So hope lives on eternal
There is always tomorrow
“Now Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So may the gods do to me and even more, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.” And he was afraid and arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree; and he requested for himself that he might die, and said, “It is enough; now, O Lord, take my life, for I am not better than my fathers.” He lay down and slept under a juniper tree; and behold, there was an angel touching him, and he said to him, “Arise, eat.” Then he looked and behold, there was at his head a bread cake baked on hot stones, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank and lay down again. The angel of the Lord came again a second time and touched him and said, “Arise, eat, because the journey is too great for you.” So he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mountain of God.” 1 Kings 19:1-8

Sometimes we just need a good meal, a nap, and to connect with God.
“There is an appointed time for everything.
And there is a time for every event under heaven—
A time to give birth and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.
A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
A time to be silent and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate;
A time for war and a time for peace.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
“For behold, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
‘The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time has arrived for pruning the vines,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.“

His favor is for a lifetime;

For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.”
