Whether we believe in God or not, the Ten Commandments are foundational to the possibility of humans living together in a civilized manner. Without them, we would quickly devolve into a Mad Max or “as in the days of Noah” lifestyle. But is there more to the Ten Commandments than just being rules for us to live by?
